What we make

Two things, mostly. We assemble finished goods by hand in small batches at [your city, state]: jewelry, hair clips and scrunchies, tote bags and zip pouches, candles and small décor, cards and notebooks, keychains and bag charms.

And we put together DIY kits — every component, finding and tool a project needs, with printed step-by-step instructions — so that making something yourself does not turn into three trips to a craft store for the one part that was missing.

We sell the raw supplies loose as well: beads, findings, pliers, hardware. That started because the question we were asked most often was “can I just buy the clasps?”

Everything ready-made is assembled to order. Nothing sits in a warehouse for a year waiting for someone to buy it.

Why so many departments

Because that is how people actually shop for handmade things. Someone buying a birthday present wants a necklace, a card to go with it and a candle for the host — and does not want three orders, three shipping charges and three parcels arriving on three different days.

How we describe materials

Handmade goods have a long tradition of vague material language — “silver-tone”, “gold finish”, “genuine crystal”, “natural fibres”. We do not use it. Every listing says what the thing is actually made of:

• Metal — plated, filled or solid, with the karat or fineness where it applies, in the disclosure terms U.S. law requires.
• Stones and pearls — “cultured” or “simulated” on anything that is not naturally occurring. We do not write “real”, “genuine” or “natural” unless it is.
• Fabric — the actual fibre content and weight, so you know whether a tote will hold a laptop or a lemon.
• Wax — the wax type, the fragrance load, and the burn time we measured rather than the one on the supplier sheet.
• Paper — weight in gsm or lb, and whether it is coated. It is the difference between a card that stands up and one that flops.
